The story about 34One Design Studio
I am consistently asked, "Where did the name 34One (Three Four One) come from?", so I decided to finally clear the air and explain where it did originate. One night I had fallen asleep on my couch (which I never do) and had some crazy dream that woke me from a deep sleep. When I woke up, I was positioned in such a way that when I had looked at the clock on the cable box, it read "One" which I show below, and when I looked at it right side up, it read "340". See below.

For some reason I thought it was really cool and the name stuck with me so I wrote it down on a piece of paper. The next day I had gone online and purchased the domain name. Since, the name has developed other relativity to my life. I am 34 years old, I have One daughter, and if you add up 3+4+1=8 (I've been doing design work for 8 years now). So, that's basically it. It wasn't my street address or my area code.........
just a weird moment in time that seemed to stick out like a sore thumb.
Who We Are
We are a small Web Design & Development company based in New Jersey. After spending a few years developing and refining our skills, we (Dave and I), had decided it was time to start our own company with the ambition to grow and expand into something more on a grand scale. We are very passionate about what we do and it shows in our work and our work ethic. We strive everyday to bring something fresh and new to the table and utilize new web technologies that are available to us in order to do so. Feel free to browse the website and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to drop us a line or give us a call!
Jason Ryan
Starting out as a Graphic Artist in 2001, I quickly rediscovered my love for computers and technology. I would spend many hours in front of the computer learning and playing with photoshop & Illustrator until my finger tips hurt! I then came across my first all Flash website and became instantly intrigued. It was at that moment I had realized what I wanted to do and I decided to take the necessary steps to become a web designer.
Since enrolling at a local technical school for web design & graphic art, I have been consistently doing projects for friends and family members to home in on my skills and to build a reputable portfolio of my work. Since completing school and working at few small companies, I decided I needed something to fuel my creative output as a designer & developer, so I decided to partner up with my friend David Ruscitti who I had worked with at a previous job with, and 34One Design Studio born.
David Ruscitti
I had met David at a previous job doing web design & development work. Upon working our first day together, we immediately clicked and had become the "Dream Team" of web design. We both had similar backgrounds and had quickly realized our skill sets and began feeding off each others' creativity to output some of our best works. I have seen David do some amazing things with back-end development that would cross the eyes of even the most seasoned developer. Working with David, we are also looking into doing some Application & Software Development like our own eCommerce Shopping Cart and iPhone Apps which will be a part of our future projects. You can catch some of Dave's rants on his development blog, Atomic Bop.

Email marketing can help your business by increasing your sales conversion, generate repeat sales, up-sell and cross-sell products and services, gain valuable feedback from your visitors, and help web users make offline purchases.
Social Network Advertising & Marketing
Social Networking sites like MySpace, Facebook & Twitter have become useful tools to help advertise and market your company and your website. This is an opportunity for you to set up a free profile in multiple directories that are searched and navigated by thousands upon thousands of people a day. Each social networking site has its own search features and ways of finding or suggesting things or pages of interest to the user. By setting up pages on these sites, you are exposing your business to potentially millions of people that may not otherwise ever find you.
Setting up profiles on social networking sites also provides you with important back links to your website, from sites with typically very high PRs (Facebook currently has PR of 9 and MySpace has a PR of 8). This can help both your search engine rankings, and your PR. Things that don’t go hand in hand, contrary to what many people believe.
The 34One Design Process
We have a process to help ease the pain of getting your project developed. It makes sure that everybody is on the same page throughout the entire project so there is no confusion on what is going on.
Step One:
We set up an initial meeting to discuss your needs and goals for your business. You know your business better than we do and by meeting with you, we obtain information to better research your industry to develop what would work best for you. We will discuss the various ways we can implement and utilize the tools of the trade to get you noticed and set you apart from your competitors. We establish a point of contact person with your company because communication is the utmost crucial part of this step and we will strive to make things as smooth as possible for you. We take great pride in what we produce and so should you.
Step Two:
After the contract has been negotiated and signed, we then begin storyboarding and wire framing your project. We may develop a few layout ideas to ensure our vision of your project is the same as yours. These will be uploaded to our testing server for you do get a visual grasp on what it may look like in your browser window and on the web. This is where feedback from you helps us tweak and make minor adjustments to your liking. Once your point of contact has approved the proof of your project, we will then begin the next step of hand coding and developing your project.
Step Three:
Once the proofs have been approved, we will then start constructing your project by hand coding everything from the ground up. We follow and abide by good web standards and accessibility and test cross-browser compatibility to ensure ever visitor has a pleasant and user-friendly experience while visiting your site. Through this process, your project will be uploaded to our testing server for you to be able to track the progress of your site and also to provide any feedback you may have.
Step Four:
During this step, we will have come pretty close to having your project completed and uploaded for you to test run and make sure everything is to your liking. We will make any final revisions to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your project and that it is ready for launch. Once everything has been approved, we then begin the process of porting everything over to the main server with the domain name associated with your project in the next step.
Step Five:
Once the your project has been completed, we wrap up any and all billing and provide you with a back-up of your project (source files) for safe keeping as well as keeping a back-up on our side in case for any reason something happens. We will then upload your project to the main server and launch your project. After the project has gone live, we can discuss some post-production procedures to help market and spread the word about your new website.
And that's it, a simple 5 step process to help you to establish your online presence and to get you on your way to establishing new leads and clients for your business.
